QuTiP is open-source software for simulating the dynamics of open quantum systems.
QuTiP aims to provide user-friendly and efficient numerical simulations of a wide variety of
Hamiltonians, including those with arbitrary time-dependence, commonly found in a wide range of
physics applications such as quantum optics, trapped ions, superconducting circuits, and quantum nanomechanical resonators.
In QUTIP_EXA_DIR are some examples taken from the installation file. They are slightly changed.
- QuTiP uses by default the number of cores requested by the job.
- The number of cores can be explicitely controlled by the environment variable QUTIP_NUM_PROCESSES.
- Try to use the fortran monte carlo solver (f90mc). It's much faster.
